About me: My name is Michael David Hoopengardner, but most people call me Mike, or Hoop. I've had the nickname "Hoop City" ever since 8th grade. Not sure what it means or where it came from, but it's stuck. In high school I tried to start a "Hoop City" clothing line, and sold officially licensed "HOOP CITY" t-shirts. I also had grand plans of starting a HOOP CITY record company, a HOOP CITY skateboarding company, and a magazine titled - you guessed it, HOOP CITY. In a related story, I am now a dorky engineer who dreads going to work everyday like the rest of the population. I've lived in sunny SMC for my entire life, just having a blast with the homies, drinking too much, mingling with the occasional female that gets in my crosshairs. Planning on making the move up to DC/NOVA this summer to try something new and to be in a more talented gene pool. The preferable lady? Gotta be tan, exotic, stylish, classy, ambitious, and fun to hang out with. I'm also a sucker for foreign accents. Me? I consider myself fun to be around, cool, have a little style of my own, honest, and down to earth. Motto? Don't really have one, just always have fun, stay true to what you believe in and never be afraid to take chances. Holler at me! P.S.
