Music (I'm a violinist and have played in semi-pro Orchestras), salsa dancing, sports (favorite teams: Colts, Pacers, Spurs, Rams), my dog, church activities, stuff that doesn't involve a computer.
Music
Other than country or Tejano, I'm pretty openminded. As a music teacher, I like a lot of classical, and found that some of my favorite music tends to be Medieval or Renaissance (could I be a geek?)
Movies
Not much of a moviegoer--The Christmas Story, Gladiator, and Robin Hood are faves, as well as most Denzel Washington films.
Television
The Simpsons, The Office, sports, Seinfeld reruns, PBS (yup, I'm a geek).
Books
Charles Dickens, Dave Barry, Amy Tan, Medieval history (I told you I was a geek!)
Heroes
People who get beyond themselves & color outside society's lines in order to make a difference: Rich Mullins Mother Teresa and others like them.

Who I'd like to meet: People--99.9% sane, functional people. NO pervs or freaks (if you're weirder than I am, you need help anyway!)
Oh, you meant actual historical figures? I guess since I'm a Christian Jesus is a good answer--which I PLAN to do when I die. Other than that...? Somebody I could have a good conversation with, but was also good for a few laughs--Einstein, maybe? Well I couldn't have a good conversation with him, because I'm almost mathematically illiterate. No, it would have to be someone else more on my wavelength--Mozart, maybe? Yes, a musical genius with sense of humor. It's settled; I'd like to meet Mozart.
Does that mean Wed is when you want to go? Spring Break, well my brother is supposed to come into town but I haven't heard from him so I really don't know any more.
Ok so I'm totally excited the Phantom is in like 2 weeks, March 7th don't forget. And so I was telling Ricky that we should meet up to eat somewhere before the show, hopefully somewhere already downtown but nothing too expensive but it's up to yall?
