After over 60 gigs in the south of Holland and Belgium in the first year of their existence, Hoover decided to move to Amsterdam where a bigger audience can be reached. Their sound is often compared to a mix of Pearl Jam, Muse and Queens of the Stoneage.
Peter-Paul (bass guitar), Sander Baks (Vocals/Guitar) and Also Sanso are the force behind Hoover and its success. 2009 was all about playing live and promoting their album Uncertain Things, mastered at Wisseloord Studios by Darius van Helfteren. Darius is also known for his collaboration with Scorpions, Anouk, Van Dik Hout, Keane and Counting Crows.
2009 is very succesfull year with great highlights: Live performance on national radio 3FM, Live show at the dutch 'main stage' de Melkweg
(Amsterdam) and a super gig at the Paard van Troje (Den Haag).
