The band uses to mix several styles of sound in their way to create music.
They basically use to play:
-Punk Rock (Green day, Goldfinger, NOFX, Simple Plan, Lit, ...),
-Metal (Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach, ...),
-New Rock (Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, The Used, ...).
HOPAK likes to mix those influences with other styles like Electro, Ragga ...

C'est durant l'été 2004 que Damien et Ronald (ex-bassiste du groupe) décident de monter un nouveau projet musical. Ils sont vite rejoints par Latex à la batterie.
Le groupe change plusieurs fois de line-up et de noms (Tropical Asylum, Coffin For Teen, ...) avant de se fixer avec l'arrivée en septembre 2005 d'Alex à la basse, et AD au chant et clavier en avril 2006. HOPAK est né.
La musique du quartet, tout en restant dans la veine Pop-Punk-Rock évolue sans cesse et le groupe met un point d'honneur à ne pas se contenter d'un style particulier, allant même jusqu'à tester des sonorités électro.

During the summer of 2004, Damien and Ronald (ex-bass guitar player) decided to create a new musical project. Soon after that, Latex came on to play drums. The line-up and the name (Tropical Asylum, Coffin For Teen, ...) of the band changed several times before Alex (bass guitar) and AD's (voice and keyboard) arrivals in september 2005 and april 2006. HOPAK is born.
The music of this four piece band, even if it always compared to Pop-Punk-Rock keeps evolving and the band is proud not to stay confine in only one musical style, going further in their idea by trying some electronic sounds.
