About me:
I love New York. Born and raised here—this is my home. I have always felt the energy of this city. New York’s people and neighborhoods generate a pulse to the streets. The culture can be best captured in its art. Since New York has always been a mecca for art, it has some of the best street art ever to be found. Whether you like to use the term ‘graffiti’ or not, the work that is on the street can reflect the true nature of things. In ancient Rome the graffiti sometimes told the true story of the events taking place. I think this is still true today. Whether it is a blatant political piece or a more abstract work the artist is still saying something about the moment. Other times the medium is the message, such as a scrawled name tag on a wall. To some people it’s just vandalism, to those who can see past legality, accept it as the folk art of the times.
I’m thrilled to be a part of this culture for my art.
