CLAIRE CAMPBELL was born into late 70's Southern Music peasantry. The
granddaughter of (ye)olde-tyme legendary Eddie Campbell, who shall forever
move his pinky toes independently of his other toes, Claire began playing
guitar at the delicate age of 16. In 2002, almost a decade later, Claire
concieved Hope For Agoldensummer, with her twang-infested neighbor, Deb
Davis, and her tiny-footed sister, Page Campbell. Since then she has
played shows in Peru, scored Nick Nolte's film "Off the Black", and hung perilously from many trapezes. She continues to write and perform with Hope For
Agoldensummer and make soap to warsh yer pits. In fact, she composes our
most requested hits. Claire's net worth is estimated at about $503.31.
She has 3 bicycles and she sings and plays Slide Guitar, Bowed Guitar, Singing Saw, Accordion, Clarinet, Kazoo, Ankle Bells, and slaps her knees. PAGE CAMPBELL was birthed on the new moon, in Georgia, into the deepest
dark of any month that year. She has spent the last two decades finding
light in a myriad of pursuits, thus extending her institutionalized
education into it's 3rd decade. In 2003, she was kidnapped from a Chicago
filmschool and sank once again into the bawdy heat of the South. Page is
a favorite among local stalkers and public nudists. She recently gave
driving directions to ye old tyme topographical masturbator on his way to
Elberton, GA. She definitely writes our most popular songs. With the
addition of a speeding ticket and the costly sex enhancing breath-strip
scam, Page's net worth recently bottomed out to $213.46. She has no car, but she sings and plays Guitar, Sticks, Xylophone, Slide Whistle, and found sound.
DEB DAVIS was born into a world of sun and gunshots in an obscure town in
Texas. Everything was blurry in the heat, but records made sense, and Deb
took to music like a monster truck to a single file line of geo metros;
creating for herself both a noisome diversion and a means to express. Page
thinks Deb plays guitar like Lou Reed, but she's got versatility. Deb has
played in a million bands of all different genres; she got to tour all
over with Man or Astroman, and hang out in ye olde tyme Europe with the
Josh Joplin Group. Somehow, she's even been on MTV! One time, when she
could barely pay for her coffee, the barista told her he recognized her
from MTV, and he probably thought she was rich. Deb didn't join Hope For
Agoldensummer, she was abducted (Claire even dressed in an alien costume),
but she really likes it, and she writes a lot of the best songs that they
play. Deb's net worth is around 357.92. Thats 100 lattes, plus she plays Guitar, Accordion, Cookie-tin Banjo and Xylophone.

Dear hope for agoldensummer, thank you for your show in Chattanooga on Thursday. I'm still feeling completely charmed. Do come back- you have an audience here, they were just being lazy on that drizzly day. Play a gig at JJs Bohemia. I'll sing your praises to every corner of our little city and they will deliver. That being said, I'm moving to Portland in a couple of months and you should play there too. I'll be seeing you soon, if I have to treck down to georgia to do so! walk slowly. -amelia
As promised to Deb Davis here I am posting the first few photos taken at Petes Candy Store in Brooklyn last month. Due to the poor light in that tiny venue I decided to go with the flow and age the photos a little more with some sepia toning I think that it also falls into line with your Georgia roots and the music from the south.
Yes I will send more as soon as I have time to produce them .
It is totally up to you what you do with the photos, if you should wish for versions with out the words or even higher resolution then please feel free to ask.
Again thank you for letting me photo you and just to say that you have made one of your UK fans smile ( That would be someone called Nabeena aka Nina Marley ) but you know that charm of yours is rubbing off and I am finding that I am gravitating to what you produce and its good ……………
My section of office got the pleasure of listening to your cd today! You were a hit with the payroll & accounting departments! hehe The show last night kicked major butt and thanks to your literature...I think I might be secure enough to come out to my family! Thanks lovely ladies. 8)
This one is for the beautiful and incredibly talented women of Hope for a Golden Summer. Wish we could make it to the big video release party! Sounds like it'll be one to go down in Athens history! Download "Shaman's Medicine Bag," grab your favorite fetish, a bucket, a spoon, a rusty 8" cake plate, whatever you can get your hands on, and drum your brains out!!!! This will bring good medicine to the party and perhaps you'll take your own shamanic journey, discover your power animal, journey to the third world, or lay in the grass in a stupor in Page's yard. It's ALL good. Love and peace to all, let the party begin... Uncle Tim
