This is a fanzine dedicated to Joe Strummer, and The Clash plus related bands and topics. So far I've managed to produce one issue, issue two should be on it's way to the printers by the end of the month (message me if you're interested in a copy so I know how many to get printed) and issue three should follow not long after.
Any Joe/Clash/punk/DIY or related contributions are welcome (as long as they're written in English) and all contributers whose work is used will get a free copy of the finished issue.

Two beautiful quotes from Joe
"There's no way to eliminate the most terrifying reality - that we all have to die - but at least the sun shines, and we've got a bit of time, so it's not all sniveling." - Joe, 2001 http://www.ijamming.net/2003/06June9-23.html
"we must be positive and know the truth is on our side,
music can turn people on to the beauty of a life still to be lived...we choose to not take anymore and not be miserable." Antonino D'Ambrosio interview April 2002 from Let fury Have The Hour
(beautiful tribute in Falcon Liricas' Amazon review)

Disclaimer: despite the name I'm not looking for dates/romance - the zine's name comes from a music interviewer in the 80's describing Joe Strummer as (along the lines of) being "hopelessly romantic as usual" + Pennie Smith calling The Clash romantics and Joe's self description as a hopeless romantic.
Who I'd like to meet: Joe/Clash/Meskies fans, people interested in reading/buying &/or trading for my zine, people interested in and/or interested in writing anything about Joe, The Clash, punk, left wing politics, anti -racism, anti-fascism (Nazi punks fuck off), DIY culture, zines and similar topics.

"The night before Eric's we had gone to the Pistols first secret gig , at Wolverhampton, we were supposed to support them but for some reason did not, Ari..s mother was there, I told Ari at Eric's that we had bumped into her, obviously without realizing her connection with John Lydon at the time". A few years later John married Ari's mother Nora Forster.
