H.O.P.E.'s Interests
|
| Heroes | We can't provide every service we like or be open 24 hours a day. But there are some other agencies in town that provide HIV testing and related services so if we can't help you maybe one of these below can.
Tulsa County Health Dept. at 15th and Yale (just west of Driller's Stadium) provides Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV, and Syphilis testing for $20 with results in two weeks. Please call 918-595-4104 for their hours.
Planned Parenthood has several offices in town and tests for all sexually transmitted diseases as well as providing a wide range of other reproductive health services. They charge a sliding scale fee and provide different services on different days. Call their main office (10th and Peoria) at 918-587-1101 for more information.
The Oklahoma Blood Institute at 4601 E 81st (near 81st and Yale) provides a wide selection of blood-related screenings including HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Blood Type, Cholesterol level, and liver enzymes for $65. They are available most weekdays by walk-in, call 918-293-2760 for details.
If you have viral Hepatitis and are having a hard time finding or affording bloodwork and treatment, then call Options Health Research at 918-513-3490. They are located at 1145 S. Utica, Suite 700(across the street from Hillcrest Hospital).
If you have HIV and are looking for counseling or need assistance with finances, food, rent, or govt. paperwork, then call Tulsa CARES at 918-834-4194. They are located at 3507 E. Admiral Place, which is just a little bit east of Harvard.
If you have HIV and are looking for medication, bloodwork, or counseling then get in touch with OSU College of Medicine's HIV Clinic. They accept insurance and many of their medical services are free regardless of your income level or insurance status. They also provide a two-week or rapid HIV test. They are located on the second floor of the Houston Parke Clinic on 635 West 11th Street and you can call 918-382-5058 for more information. |

About me:
HIV testing in all its variations. Free tests that come back in two weeks or 15 minute tests for $30, sometimes free for special events. Testing in the clinic (3540 E. 31st Street, Suite 6) or at several off-site locations including the Day Center, the Equality Center (Tulsa's GLBT Community Center), TCC, TU, 12 & 12, and Youth Services of Tulsa. Find out more at hopetesting.org or call us at 918-749-8378.
We offer Hepatitis B testing for $12 and Hepatitis C testing for $18 on Monday evenings but have limited supplies so only test those who may have been exposed.
Find out more about our Equality Center testing at OkEq.org, visit their myspace page found in our favorites, or give them a call at 918-743-4297.
If you live outside the 918 area code, or are not sure you want an HIV test but have other questions, then you are welcome to call the Oklahoma HIV/STD hotline at 800-535-2437 or the CDC national hotline at 800-342-2437(en Espanol 800-342-7432). A couple of good sites for HIV info are cdc.gov and thebody.com and you can visit
OSDH to find OK specific stats.
We have Spanish speakers available at our Monday and Thursday night clinics by walk in from 5-8 PM or call 918-749-8389.
