Hi, I am working as tattooist in Osaka Japan. Horitsuna is my artist name. My shop is TATTOO STUDIO DESPERADO located in the Central Osaka city called Minami (south area) where is lively downtown. There are big shopping mole and a lot of clothing shop for young people around my studio. If you come to Osaka, just stopby my studio!
As my carrer as a tattooist, I have started tattooing when I was 20 yrs-old. At the beginning, I started tattooing with 'Tebori' (hand-poke tattoo). I used to go to my teacher who is a tatooist of Japanese traditional style and I have learned Tebori style. Though, in some reason, I changed to tattoo by the magnet machine. However, I sure Japanese 'Tebori' tattoo have the defferent taste to other tattoo style like machines. Its color lasts long beautifully. You can tell that after 20yrs later.. So it was just 8 yrs since using the magnet machine. I still have a lot of things to learn. I really like to try to use any kind of machine. I used to try to tattoo by rotary machine. I really like it, though for me it takes time much more than the magnet one. Basecally when I get new machine, I remodel it as the way I like for tattooing.
As my daily life, I am working 6 or 7days a week! I don't know why I am too busy like this though. Inspite of that, I always enjoy talking with a lot of people coming my place, going Karaoke with my friend sometimes, drinking in the bar BABYLON almost everyday, gambling the horse race every weekend (just buying betting tickets I have no time to go to the racing studium.), etc... Basecally I am not going anywhere else out of Osaka especially around my shop. However, I went France this year that was my first trip to Europe! It was really great experience for me.. and I am going back to France in 2008!
