Influences
Miles, Sonny Stitt, and Kenny Garrett are some of my favorites. I also love playing the great Sinatra charts made famous by the Basie band. Latin jazz is a new favorite that I'm trying to get better at.
Yeah, that Ed, you know him, too? Man, he gets around! I guess that's what happens when you have amazing talent. I'll just stick to playing horn as best as I can. Ironically, Ed didn't play on any of those tunes, 'cause I didn't know him, yet, when we recorded. But we'll be returning to the studio fairly soon to do an album of originals.
