The Hornucopia Festival is an exciting new festival, gathering the best horn and brass musicians in the bay area and beyond together for two weeks of mind blowing, soul shaking shows, workshops and presentations. Taking place from September 4th -14th in multiple venues The Hornucopia Festival is a celebration of the dynamic influence and exuberant presence of horns and brass in music from all corners of the globe. With bands that play everything from Afrobeat to Salsa to Jazz to Balkan Music including marching Bands, Soul Bands and everything inbetween the festival will demonstrate the unique history and contemporary power of brass and horn music to cross genres, languages, borders and cultures, bringing people together to make new music and new movements.
