The original idea of the Horror Drunx was for Mortimer A. London and friends to hit the road and have pictures taken of me in front of as many horror movie sites as possible. It may sound easy enough, but there is a twist; every picture will be taken in the middle of the day with me drinking a 40oz in front of horror movie sites. Illegal? Yes. Fun? Yes. Psychotic? Maybe.....
...Now THE HORROR DRUNX is an organization of horror fanatics and horror activists. But what was first just a few friends has grown into 60+ chapters and over 65,000 members world-wide! Now its ranks also include horror actors, directors, writers, and musicians that all work in the horror genre.
Today, many of the chapters are also becoming known for their special events... Be it movie screenings at theaters, music events at clubs, parties, barbeques, and other social mixers where like-minded horror fans can meet. I am a true horror fan. From the great Universal classics, to the slashers, to late nite B movie fodder...horror goes down to my bones. Paranormal Activity is the WORST excuse of a horror film I have ever plunked down my hard earned money to see. This is coming from a guy who enjoyed Attack of the Killer Leeches! I have never...NEVER wanted to walk out of a movie so bad. You want to know what happens? Walk around your house with a camera and have a friend randomly bang on walls. Then go, "Oh god! What was that?! Whats happening?!" Do this for an hour and a half. If you are a self respecting horror fan, DO NOT GIVE THIS MONEY!. This gives horror a bad name.
Assault the myspace trailers page. They put up the Nightmare reamake trailer. Fuck that noise. As predicted, they've raped and ruined another icon of horror.
4th OSS Cleveland Charity ZOMBIE WALK is just 4 days away!
In Nov. 2007, the ZOMBIE plague hit 75 people. In Nov. 2008, the zombie plague expanded to over 100. Last April, the zombie population grew to 225. Let's get 300-plus zombies this time!
We've also raised over 1,200 pounds of food since we started the zombie walk, including 657 pounds last April. Let's go for 800 pounds for the Harvest For Hunger campaign for the Cleveland Food Bank. People are in need more than ever.
