Many things... We love Horror movies so damn much that it givs us a feeling much like intoxication (hence the name), were a social and networking group, an organization that has grown to an estimated 70,000+ members world wide, a film history appreciation group, we have been known to put on some raging parties and events, and now we are even a website and a free Online Horror Movie magazine available at TheHorrorDrunx.com






For one, we BOYCOTT HORROR MOVIE REMAKES! We are the first Horror organization to take an active stand in this. We get together and meet off-line for MOVIE SCREENINGS at theaters, we throw some of the BEST PARTIES EVER, meet up and meet up at movie conventions and events... LOT'S OF SOCIAL GATHERINGS for like-minded Horror lovers. Sometimes we even put together and promote our own special events! We are also the first Horror organization to not just be a nerdy sausage fest, with female members ("Horror Drunkettes") in many of the leadership positions.



The Horror Drunx was born, by a competely random and dimwitted accident on 12/09/2002.

The original idea of the Horror Drunx was for its founder MORTIMER A. LONDON and a few friends to hit the road and have pictures taken in front of as many horror movie filming locations as possible. It may sound easy enough, but there was a twist; every picture was taken in the middle of the day with us drinking a 40oz in front of horror movie sites. Illegal? Yes. Fun? Yes. Psychotic? Maybe...

From there, the group just grew and grew with every new roadtrip expedition and movie screening we attended.



Now THE HORROR DRUNX is an organization of horror fanatics and horror activists. What was first just a few friends has grown into over 70,000 members world-wide! Now its ranks also include horror actors, directors, writers, and musicians that all work in the horror genre.

Today, we are also becoming known for their special events... Be it movie screenings at theaters, music events at clubs, parties, barbeques, and other social mixers where like-minded horror fans can meet.

The Horror Drunx get Drunk on Horror. Horror is our booze.
