About me:

I'm a real person and I am DAMN proud to say it. I deal with my own personal issues and try to leave anyone else not involved out of it because I HATE DRAMA. I am an extremely happy and civil person, and the only time I will get into an arguement with someone is when they come at me trying to pick an unnecessary fight. Nearly every situation or disagreement can be talked about in a civil and respectible manner, if only people could learn to take constructive criticism and control their own emotions and prejudices. I myself appreciate constructive criticism because I can take it or leave it as I see fit and it helps me to broaden my perspectives on life. So I try to do unto others as I would want done to me, but often times it is not recieved well because of how blunt and direct I am when explaining my own perspectives. Im not an asshole, nor am I set in my ways about my beliefs. They are always evolving. I am always open to new perspectives and I look to each day as a new learning experience. I practice the secret on a daily basis and I believe that everyone is in control of themselves and ONLY themselves. NOBODY can make you feel ANY specific way that you don't want to feel. You are in control of YOURSELF, and that I know to be an absolute unwavering fact. (if you cannot understand or at least respect this opinion, we will NOT get along...period.) I'm Cory btw, 21, gay, and so much more... I really don't think any short blurb in a myspace profile could even begin to describe how I stroll through my life. Personalities are complicated, and I love finding out what is hidden beneath the surface that makes a person tick. It is really the only way to truly get to know somebody. Sometimes I am entirely too open about myself (diagnosed with and medicated for ADHD since 3rd grade, inheritated generalized anxiety and depression since 6th; just recently beat a long 2 1/2 year stint of cigarette and marijuana addiction all under my own power of will [was a lot harder than many may think]; and I am an aspiring artist who plans on one day inspiring the world to become a community of more introspective and emotionally sound human beings) and quite often I think things can only be explained in run-on sentences. There are so many things behind everything else, and most things can usually only be explained with more questions being proposed. That is why I am so damn honest with myself and those around me, because secrets and lies will eat you alive if you let them build up for too long. That's my phylosophy and I am sticking to it.
