First Where am I ?

From Bassano, SS47 exit to Strigno then follow the yellow indication to Ranch dei Lupi. It is located after Strigno in the village Tomaselli. Entering to Tomaselli, take the first right and 5km after, at the end of the road you will be at the Ranch dei Lupi !

First way by car to come from Belgium/France/Germany/Austria to the Ranch dei Lupi : Liège, Cologne, Francfort, Wurzburg, Nurnberg, Munchen, A99 then direction Salzburg or Innsbruck via A8. Exit A8 to Rosenheim direction Insbruck.
Buy the high-way pass "vignette Autrichienne" at any pump station for 7.5 Euro !
At Insbruck take the high-way A13 to Brenner (italian border) In Italy, high-way A22 to Bolzano, Trento (exitTrento NORD). Direction PADOVA or direction SS47 (Strada Statale 47 = national way number 47 that goes trough Pergine...) On the SS47, after 35km exit to Strigno then after Strigno, when you enter the small village og Tomaselli, take the first street to the right and just go to the end of this road (5km)

Riding: Wolf's Ranch (Ranch dei Lupi) offers our guests the unique opportunity to ride one of our 20 horses unescorted with the permission of the Ranch. This allows guests the remarkable freedom to fully explore this beautiful 100,000 acres of country. Guests can ride twice a day, choosing among morning, afternoon and evening rides. We also have all-day rides into the Dolomits-Lagorai (Lago means lake in italian) as well as breakfast rides. Wranglers are always available to guide rides and offer instruction.

Overnight Pack Trips: Trips in the montain provide another horseback riding adventure for our guests. The Ranch supplies horses, guides, wrangler-cook and all of the necessary equipment. Plans for a pack trip can be made after your arrival at the Ranch.

Swimming Pool: The Ranch's 40 X 70-foot pool is within walking distance from your cabin. There is also a hot tub available for guest use; soak those tired muscles after a ride!

Fishing: Guests can fish in the pristine mountain waters of Wolf's Ranch, other nearby streams and rivers, or our bass pond. Adige' offers experts as well as novices the chance to catch rainbows, brookies, browns and large-mouth bass. You can bring your own equipment or rent gear and find flies and tackle in our Wolf's Ranch Shop.

Golfing: For those guests for whom nine-holes is a necessity, a neighbor designed nine-hole course.

Other Entertainment: Wranglers frequently gather at the Ranch rodeo grounds for jackpot team roping or just for a little practice. There is a weekly dance in the recreation building, and during the rest of the week the Hall is the center of activity for the young set. The Main House provides the perfect setting for various social gatherings or to play cards and games.

Hunting: Between October 15th and the 31st we offer three separate five-day elk and/or deer hunts. In addition to your big game hunt one can hunt upland birds and fish. For more information please contact us.

Owner s Lodge

Featuring national-park-style architecture, this rustic getaway will be perfect for relaxing by the fire. The Lodge will consist of a great room, game room, kitchen facilities and will house the Ranch Manager and Concierge offices. Currently drawings and approvals are in process.

Summer Event Services

Horseback Riding: Ride up the mountains and down into the valleys, through the aspen trees and lush underbrush. We have several outfitters who would love to take you and your family and friends on a horseback adventure. Horses can be rented for the day, or for just a few hours, and will be delivered to you, fully equipped, here at the Ranch. (Western) Riding lessons are also available. ATV Rentals: Take a backcountry ATV adventure with you at the controls! Enjoy a day of riding around your property and the Wolf Creek Ranch trails. ATV’s are rented by the hour or day, and will be delivered to a location specified by you. Guides and safety equipment are also available.

Helicopter Rides: Take a helicopter adventure over Wolf Creek Ranch. Get a topographical view of the Ranch, including your property. Adventures will begin and end at the Wolf Creek Ranch Helipad.

Hot Air Balloon Rides: Effortlessly floating above the panoramic vistas is a treat you are destined to enjoy. Your balloon pilot will carefully plan your adventure to provide you with a memorable experience. You will begin by watching the crew inflate your balloon. Then, you will ascend into the heavens and float through the sky for approximately 5-10 miles. Groups varying in size from 2-6 are easily accommodated. Special arrangements can often be made for larger groups.

Soaring/Glider Plane Rides: Nothing compares to the serenity of soaring.

Nature/Wildflower Walk: Enjoy a relaxing walk through Wolf Ranch’s magnificent backcountry, while admiring many of the glorious wildflowers that blanket the countryside.

Wildlife Tour: Experience this spectacular tour through the surrounding backcountry with a guide who has been studying behaviors of local animals for years, and is ready to show you and your family of all ages and abilities how exciting animal tracking can be.

Fly-Fishing: It is exhilarating and refreshing. The sound of the fly whisping thru the air, the feel of the strike, the spinning of the reel, the thrill of the flight. Winter Event Services

Horseback Riding: You have probably skied through fresh powder, but have you every galloped through it? We have several outfitters who would love to take you and your family and friends on a winter horseback adventure. Horses can be rented for the day, or for just a few hours, and will be delivered to you, fully equipped, here at the Ranch. Riding lessons are also available.

Sleigh Rides: Dashing through the snow in an old-time horse drawn sleigh! We invite you to glide across Wolf Creek Ranch’s picturesque setting in a horse drawn sleigh. It's perfect for a romantic evening or for a group outing.

Dog Sledding: Sit back and relax as your team of dogs race through the snow here at the Ranch. Let us arrange a dog sledding adventure for you and your family.

Snowmobile Rentals: Take a backcountry snowmobile adventure with you at the controls! Enjoy a day of riding around your property and the Wolf Ranch trails. Snowmobiles are rented by the hour or day, and will be delivered to a location specified by you. Guides and safety equipment are also available.

Cross Country Skiing: Enjoy the serenity of Cross Country Skiing on the groomed Wolf Ranch trails. Let us arrange a custom guided tour for you, or simply arrange for you to have the proper equipment.

Snowshoeing: Enjoy the solitude and beauty of the pristine mountains via the most peaceful and serene method of getting there. We can arrange for friendly and knowledgeable guides to lead you on a private or group excursion. Equipment rentals are also available with or without the tour.

Climate:

At just 4,500 feet, we tend to have mild weather. Early June is typically dry. Daytime temperatures are often in the low to mid 30s with temperatures falling into the 20s in the evening.

Capacity:
The Ranch can accommodate as many as 25 guests comfortably among our 7 individual appartments.

Clothing:
There is no formality in clothing at the Ranch. Western riding clothes are usually worn throughout the day; casual and comfortable clothes are the norm when not riding. Lightweight jackets or sweatshirts may be needed for cool evenings and mountain riding, and rain gear is always a good idea, just in case. Do not forget to bring your swimsuit for our pool and hot tub.

Laundry Facilities:
Coin-operated laundry facilities are located on the Ranch. Garments in need of dry-cleaning can be left in the office to be sent to town.

Ranch Store:
We carry a small supply of drugs, toiletries, snacks and beverages in our store. We also recommend a visit to our gift shop; we have a fantastic selection of Wolf's Ranch caps, shirts, fleece pullovers, jackets, coffee mugs and much more. Our selection of Southwestern and Native American jewelry is especially popular.

Coffee Shop:
If you miss breakfast or are looking for a refreshing drink after your ride, the coffee shop is the place to be. We serve an assortment of coffees, cold drinks, bagels and cookies. Come visit with guests and staff between rides!

Town Trips:
We have a van traveling to town every afternoon, Monday through Saturday. If you need anything from town, you can place your order in the office and it will be delivered to your cabin. For those who would like to visit Venezia, Bassano, Levico Terme, Verona, Milano for the afternoon, arrangements for transportation can be made in the office.

How To Get Here:
Venezia, Milano, Verona: Those cities are served by most major airlines... We provide transportation for the 30-minute drive at no additional charge.

Guests can rent a car for the 2.5-hour drive, or Ranch transportation can be arranged in advance for an additional charge.
