Bel Ami Lounge It's hard to argue with The Horsehead as best happy hour winner when you learn one basic thing: Happy "hour" at the downtown bar lasts 'til 9 pm ("super" happy hour is from 4 pm-5 pm). Add in the bar's new(ish) menu (fried pickles!) and old standbys (just try those nachos), the massive outdoor seating area (we can't wait until the bamboo grows in), strong drinks (if you haven't tried the "fresh and clean," you really ought to) and exceptionally well-selected music, and you've got a real winner. Oh, and they have pinball (and pool and darts). Though we kinda miss the Monster Bash game that was a little more forgiving with coughing up the balls that came off the plunger and went straight down the drain.
