Customer Appreciation Party Everyone get the heck on out to Reverand Jim's Roadhouse in Madison's South East side. There will be free beer, free food, heck of a lot of drinking, AND Karaoke with Cowboy Jim. This show is strictly to tell you folks, thank you for making our little business what it has become. We have tried to call as many people that we either used to karaoke with, or are currently. But this show is all about ya'll. For me to say Thanks!
2008.07.30 - Very Successful Week But Only Because Of You!!! When we originally signed up Hody Bar and Grill, I did not realize what could happen in a early week show. There is another very early week show that is pretty successful in it's own right. But, that company is not running this show. It is me that is running this one. Ok, we check on down to last weeks shows. The whole show week starts at the Hody. And that is one hell of a way to start the weekly show schedule. Well, we partied our butts off. But that is after having a slight heart attack. One of my lady bartenders comes on up to me and says to me, you need to call Stacy the mgr tomorrow morning. We had an idea, but hey that is alright. I called, and she told me to start coming on out every week. No Problemo! So, we have every week at the Hody. Thanks to management, ownership, and all the customers that have made this a mainstay of Middleton Karaoke. We will continue to party our butts off, and certain other shows. Watch Out! There is a new sheriff in Middleton! His name is Cowboy Jim! :D That takes us to the Wednesday shows! After having such a party on Tuesday nights, it is pretty hard to follow up on that one. But, Roadhouse I is usually pretty darn good, and II is coming into it's own finally. Both shows were very good. The usual crowds, but also some new folks. Which makes them great in their own right. Thursday was much better than what we had seen in previous weeks. But it is coming around. Friday was the another one of those nights, that I was not sure how it was going to start. Tomoson did his usual "Cowboy Jim In The House!!!!" (every time I walked in the door while unloading :D). But there was not a whole bunch of people there at the beginning. Just the usual crowd. Folks, when I started doing this show, I told ya'll I was so excited about us coming on out there again, but I never really new quite what to expect. Numerous times, I told ya'll that this was a party town. And they just absolutely love karaoke out here, but I never really expected this. Here is the deal, if you don't expect it, it will be a welcome surprise. And that is exactly what that show is about. Whenever I get scheduled away from that show (and Ann or Matt have to run it), I absolutely hate it. Every one of our customers, Lake Mills - Middleton - or otherwise, are like family to us. Lake Mills is just that. We have gotten to become so close to ya'll. We have gotten to know your kids, we have shared stories good and bad, and we have celebrated events together. Thank You for everything you guys bring every freaking week. That takes us to two new shows for Sat. Unfortunatley, you could not have come on out to Roadhouse I this week to catch the usual show, cause we have been put on hold for a couple of shows until our Customer Appreciation Party! So, that was a good thing kinda. We blew a speaker on Friday Night. So, we only had enough to host two shows. And that is all we had with the two new shows out at Murphy's and FINs. Ann did the show at Murphy's in Madison(I will be out there for the August Show) and it was pretty dead. Just the normal Cowboy Jim Karaoke Junkies were out, but they got the bartender April on up there to sing, they sang, and they had a nice little private party. Folks, I do not want to see this happen. Let's get on out there for the next show and show them how we do things - Cowboy Jim Style. I am counting on ya'll to make that a great show just like the rest of them. That takes us to FINs. Every time I go into a show, I get like seriously nervous. Lots to take in, volume, styles of music, reading the new crowds, new bartenders. All of that just makes me nervous. But, they made me feel like I was at home. Five minutes before the show starts, they started handing in slips. I thought, WOW this is going to be a long night. And we rocked the freaking house. We had such a blast. But, it did die off around 11:00 or so. Which I am not accustomed to. We usually take it much longer than we are actually scheduled. But, it was a first time. Thanks folks for having Cowboy Jim out to party with ya'll. I had a great time. This week with us is the normal. We started at Hody, have both RH tonight, Thursday at Paul's, Friday in Lake Mills, and Saturday is only Marshall, and Antler's. No Roadhouse I show this week again. But, that will be back in the running for The Party next week. So, until we see ya'll again out at the show, Thanks Folks!
