En 1997, nous avons décidé de créer le hors-norme, ce style musical existait de fait, mais n'avait jamais été appelé ainsi. Depuis, ce terme est utilisé de plus en plus souvent. Parfois même ceux qui le font sont loin d'assimiler sa signification, effectivement hors-norme s'écrit sans "s". Le hors norme n'est pas une simple dénonciation de la classification à outrance et de l'uniformisation de l'industrie musicale, c'est plutôt une critique de la norme absolue, la Réalité.
Définition de la Musique Hors Norme : Une musique sans superlatifs usurpés.
En dehors de la norme, musique inclassable, dont l'originalité
[ou le synthètisme] rend le classement dans un style impossible, la seule dénomination pertinente étant le nom du groupe ou du projet.
Il serait facile de prendre le hors norme pour un style de nature paradoxal, pourtant la vision la plus juste est celle d'une autre dimension possédant ses propres styles.
C'est aussi l'aboutissement de la démarche de tracer son propre chemin.
