The show tonight was wonderful. Your music touches my soul and feels it with Joy, love and inspiration. Thank you for the performance. I am embarassed that the tool in the crowd had to be from my town. That was the most ignornant thing I have ever witnessed in my life....... For a person to be that rude and to have such poor morals for others. It was disgusting that there are people out there like that. But then again Gotta love the internet so I can speak my mind. Before the tool interupted you sang Us Remains Impossiable (my Favorite) Back to what is important the show tonight. I loved how you started the encore with a Silent Army in the Trees. That stood out to me among many other things that you said and done and sang about. You are such a kind soul and your music is so touching on so many levels. I also liked how you played On Nights Like Tonight at the beginning of the show because I felt that it set the mood for what to expect. You really went that extra Mile tonight for you Fans and I thank you 4 that it was amazing. It was worth the wait. I waited at the bus afterwards but I then left because I didn't want to be a bother to you. Who was that at the beginning they were good 2, I didn't catch their name. Volcanos was brillant and your vocals sounded amazing. Weapon I couldn't help myself I had to get out of my seat and dance. Thank you for coming it was a great experience. Luv Jackie
Matt~ I saw you in London on Wednesday and I just wanted to tell you what an amazing show it was. I'm so grateful for being able to see you live. Thanks so much for sharing your incredible talent!
I wish you good luck on the rest of your tour~ Akane
It's such a shame that your music doesn't catch on in the States. I'm from northern New York, and grew up on the likes of yourself, Rush, and The Hip.
I have a group of friends that are Matt Good addicts, but nobody else knows of you, nor willing to open their ears to non mainstream crap.
They just want to be spoonfed by friggen MTV...such a shame. Just keep doing what your doing, maybe your efforts will be recognized someday in the future...you are AMAZING!!!
You're music is really great, I love the new album and I love the way your last couple of albums have an aspect of complete unpredictability. Just an authentic sound.
Would also like to say gracias for coming to Dawson Creek,BC....was my 1st live concert in a few years and was the one dancing continuously on RH side of stage...ya me and the big black guy,lmao....sorry we are such lameasses here, concert hall is new..maybe need some concert behavioural seminars.ZZtop didn't get much better as far crowd inertia went....Stellar performance and kudos...hope we do better next time(hope there is one):)
It was always there. This sudden drifting. The mannequin smiles on cold cement. The feet treading through left-over debris.
You were a small capsule waiting to erupt, waiting for the ground to thaw and bent limbs to sway backwards like wayward trees.
I’ve died a thousand times and still gasp awake on someone else’s lawn. My shadow slipping effortlessly into crevices. Into broken walls with yellowed paint. The dusted finger prints. A compass without direction.
I was just on Itunes I can't find a ring tune with any of your songs, maybe you could create one with itunes for you fans too purchase, or create a app, like other artist have. Your fans would appreciate it, defin RING-tunes.
Yay!...I just voted for you to come to NYC!! I'm from Toronto but just moved to NY and have lost all hope of ever seeing you in Concert!, so I hope you come...
Here's another poem I wrote (even though the format is all messed up)
I watch you pull the ocean from its frame. Watch the rise and fall of air as it falls from your chest like small moths.
Each wing pulls at the pinioned sky like stars that blink once and suddenly stop moving. A slow paralysis. The way you sit in a room but are never seen. Or when I’m pulled along by the slow velocity of your voice. The skeletal presence of looking through cracks and finding only burnt stones, left-over words, the hollow curve in my voice where you use to fit.
