The band HOSS!! plays classic country and western standards from the 1930's to the present. They also perform original tunes. It all came together in 2006 around a backyard Bellingham firepit when three dudes brought a stand-up bass and a parlor guitar outside and began jamming some of that "whiskey music." It took some time before the project got off the ground, but by the summer of 2007, HOSS!! was playing around town, catching small-town notoriety, and got invited to do some area outdoor concert events.
The band disbanded late in 2007 due to prior commitments from some members and resurfaced early spring 2008 when the drummer became the lead guitarist/lap steel player. HOSS!! found a new drummer. The acoustic guitar playing singer's still the singer, the bassist is still the bassist, and the fiddler, well you guessed it. Don't be surprised to see guest talent either, HOSS!! has many friends.
ah well... those cats are pretty cool there, tho. and doing great for the community... grew up a few miles away. hope the forth show was kickin... catch ya next time.
