About me:

Thank you for visiting Hosting Moments Photography & Design on myspace!! Let me introduce myself...My name is Joy, I created Hosting Moments in May of 2006, adding services along the way. I am a self-taught photographer and designer that was born and raised in Houma, LA. Photography has been a passion of mine since as far back as I can remember. It is something that I have always had an interest in and if you know me, you know I always have my camera in hand. I know that I still have lots to learn, but I'm working on it and LOVING every minute of it!!! With every photo session, I learn more.

Let me help you capture those moments and hold on to them forever......... I love the natural type pictures that I get when you are not posing! My concept is simple: JUST BE YOURSELF! Unlike other places (like Olan Mills, Sears, Wal-mart, etc) at the end of our session you don't have to make the dreaded decision choosing poses or sizes because you can purchase the Digital Memory CD and you get ALL the pictures from your session as well as some photos that are edited as well.

For now, I primarily shoot at local outdoor locations or at my clients home. I'm available in the Houma area, however please don't hesitate to contact me for jobs requiring travel.

I am always open for comments or suggestions, and love to try new things.......please take a moment to view my work and leave a comment or two.
