The one and only HOTBOX
formed in the mid 90's by Mel Chappell (Secret Squirrel Society, Stellar), Barry d'Live (RKL, Crosstops, GWAR), Johnny Bolt (Texas Thieves), Pete Koff (Homeslice Vids). Other members/guests include: Matt McKenzie (Tsunami Bomb, the Action Design), Bob Simmons (Duly Noted), Adam Cunha & Chris Rest (Lagwagon).
The band has toured most of the US, mainly up & down the West Coast and was featured on the 2001 Vans Warped Tour. Hotbox won "BEST PUNK BAND" in San Francisco's Bay Guardian Publication in 1999. Hotbox has 3 albums under their belt and many releases on compilations such as spots on: "Short Music For Short People" released by Fat Wreck Chords, "Fistful Of Rock" put together by Sal Canzonieri of Electric Frankenstein, LIVE 105's "Local Lounge" and many, many more...
The next release will be a new compilation called "Girls On Top" coming this Fall with a track titled, "Keeping Up With The Joneses".
