*HOT DOG TAYLOR is a steamin' hot "juke-joint" band, playing electrified countryblues, 50's and 60's R&B-style and all kind of blues in the tradition of Elmore James, Hound Dog taylor, Lazy Lester, Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters... You name it - They play it! The music they play is a mixture of originals and carefully selected covers. The recordings you hear on the player is original recordings from 2007 and also some early recordings from the Natural Boogie Boys days with Grooveman on drums. - It's sounds like oldies anyway, so whatever... Satisfaction guaranteed!

******************************************** PETER "PG" GUSTAVSSON (voc/git/harp) was the ”frontman” in Blueass Blues Band from 1981 to 2005 and is considered to be one of the best showmen in the business. He’s been touring all over Scandinavia, Holland and Belgium several times. In the summer of 2003 PG was touring the USA (with Blueass) and played at The Safeway Waterfront Blues festival in Portland OR. PG is also a songwriter and his songs have been played over the radio in entire Scandinavia, big parts of Europe, Australia and USA. Beside Blueass PG also been playing with legends like Arthur Conley and Lazy Lester.
******************************************** MICHAEL "K" KÄHÄRI is a "one of a kind" guitarplayer with his own touch. He's been playing his guitars since 1967 when Peter Green, Clapton and Hendrix hit him hard and deep. There have been many bands passing through the years but for the moment he's happy to be part of Hot Dog Taylor's band. For the wider audience in Sweden he's also known as Stagemaster, or Jam Guru, at the Åmåls Blues Festival Back Yard stage for the last couple of years. Michael is also touring with his own "Michael K's Rumble Pack.
******************************************** LARS "LARGE" ANDERSSON is truly the bassman in the band. His steady work behind the bass makes people rock their asses off and the bulls to honk their horns. For many years he was just fooling around and played mostly on special occassions and at jam sessions whenever he felt like it. When he was hired for some studio jobs, and also took part in some touring with Fat Bull and his Vets, he finally had to admit that he had a mission - He was the one who started Hot Dog Taylor.
******************************************** LENNART "GROOVEMAN" KARLSSON is a living legend behind the drums. Among other things he played with PG and Michael back in the old days with the band Natural Boogie Boys when they played at Hinseberg, the hard security women prison in Sweden. He has also backed a lot of famous swedish jazz legends and other celebrities during the years. Grooveman is (beside Rob) the best drummer we ever played with. *******************************************

Ugh, kamrater. Vi tackar och bockar för en förträffligt fenomenal, fulländad, formidabel och fantastisk spelning på våran medlemsfest. Jag vill inte bre på för mycket så Kalle blir stött, men vi kände hur han var med och styrde Måns Tingberg i hans hastigt avbrutna köttbullsrullande, stilla hemmakväll. Vi tackar Måns (och självklart resten av Hot Doggarna) för inhoppet åsså hoppas vi att Kalle kryar på sig å kan spela skjortan av Måns så han kan ägna sig åt sina köttbullar. Ha de gött grabbar.
