Hotel Miramar is located just half a block from the Santa Marta beach, and is centrally located to nightlife, shopping, and other activities. Dorm Rooms at El Miramar Santa Marta are $3.50 US, Private room are <$5 with Private bath $6 US.

Opened as a hotel in 1929, our speciality services have expanded since the 1960's for foreign tourists and backpackers. We keep our prices because we value the long term-traveler who keeps returning to our shores. We have customers returning year after year (40% of our total occupancy base is returning customers from any of the average of more than 90 countries which visit us every year). Sometimes schedules are tight, we know, but our motto is that, "our customers come for three days and stay for three weeks".
Services offered include treks to Ciudad Perdida, diving and sailing, and transportation to Colombia's beautiful national Park - Parque Tyrona. El Miramar has over 100 years of tour experience in Santa Marta and the Colombia Gold Coast.
