About me:
We are Petite Femmes, but we pack some punch. We sound like: mash up of hip hop + classic rock + dance rock + electro + soul + bass bangers + some U.K. flava ... "I need a freak"+ "Back in Black" + "heard it thru the grapevine" + Tom Tom Club + Debbie Deb + Rapture + Justice + Whodini + Fannypack + Cut Copy + Daft Punk + Ratatat + Hot Chip...Miss MK plays old skool hip hop, dance rock-ish, electro, disco, and funk and Ju$t Je$$i plays dance rock, classic rock, guilty classics & hustlin hiphop!! 2gether we are a tagteam to be reckoned with!! BEATS BEATS BEATS... We met on a cold March sunday brunch in Brooklyn in 2006...and done photo exhibits and DJ-ing... we come up with brilliant ideas at all hours...sometimes jumping up and doing sumthing bout it right then...we have a DURTY sense of humor...we laugh ALOT...we think alot...We share a total obsession with photography, music, record shopping, dark chocolate, jewelry & clothing... there are a few necessary guilty pleasures in life and you must indulge to have fun sometimes!!! We both are from the East Coast. We live to feel the beat...to shake that ass...to cry with happiness... especially while eating grilled donuts @ MOTO!!
