My objective as a photographer is to present to you not a tack sharp photo; but one (which may be out of focus) meant to pervay to you a mood of the time and place where it was taken. On this site you will see photos which carry you to some place in time. These photos are not here because I studied under someone and developed a style, rather, they are here because this is the way that I saw a particular moment and was fortunate enough to record it. I try not to imitate a certain style; if imitated I am only trying to show you my version of it. In the end it becomes an expression of what is felt between the model and photographer at that moment in time.
I have been truly fortunate to work with the greatest of models and to have a wife who is willing to put up with a truly starving artist. The images presented on these pages and in my website are only the tip of the iceberg. If you have a particular image you are searching for I might have it in my collection. If not I would like to try to capture it for you.
