Hot Mangu is a crazed fusion of musical stylings, uniquely crafted and powerfully delivered.
This awesome foursome burst onto the scene in the North-East 6 years ago
and has since taken their high-energy live show all over the UK.
Their debut album “444 Number of the Orange” released in April 2006 was
the fastest selling album on Fat Hippy Records
– the album also features a self-produced DVD with music videos and films made during 2005/2006.
2006 also saw Hot Mangu reach the Emergenza UK Finals at the Mean Fiddler in London after winning the Scottish Finals at the Carling Academy, Glasgow. Playing to around 2000 people over two nights, these have been the bands highest profile shows to date.
During 2007 Hot Mangu recorded and released three limited edition singles – Scimitar, Time Again and Legion through Fat Hippy Records. The band has played regular slots at some of Scotland’s top local music venues to promote the releases.
In early spring 2008 Hot Mangu completed their 4th single with Fat Hippy Records. The final single release is being followed up by extensive touring around Scotland and the UK, the bands main focus for the year.
Hot Mangu’s electrifying show is not to be missed. Armed with an extensive back catalogue they guarantee the right amount of groove and a whole lot of head banging. See you at the show.

To The masters of Kenfest I say right on, foul demons of rock. Drums to vomit for and guitars to swallow your colostomy bag for. The singing fish, gills akimbo, combines a stealth cardigan with the need for utter concentration.
Hey guys. Thanks a lot for the kind words. Means a lot coming from you guys. Love you loads. We'll tear it up with you guys again soon :p. Matt, downfall.
