Hot Mess is Connecticut's newest 80's dance band featuring a mix of electronic, synth pop dance-o-rama and related hits you hated back then but have grown to love over the years. Well equiped with the biggest egos, the most gear, more drama and a higher bar tab than any other band in Connecticut, this is one group that should be on anyone's radar.
September 24, 2008 - Hot Mess played their debut performance at the famed Bristol Connecticut hot spot, The Downtown Cafe. Three songs were featured in the short but powerful set including The Tubes - "Talk To You Later" followed by The Fixx - "Saved By Zero" and finally a raw rendition of The Animals - "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place". Seems like the trio is off to a great start.
January 14, 2009 - Hot Mess has added another member, Derek Monagan, and changed their name to Self Indulgent Nightmare. This name will not only be more suiting, but will serve as a mantra for all of our future endeavors.
