Extract from BACK STREET HEROES BSH MAGAZINE July 2008. Review of Hot Rod 55 at the Into the Valley biker bash..
"...everyone rushed back in for the final act. It has to be said that the best had most definitely been saved until last: I don't think there are many bands on the current bike scene who can turn a crowd on quite so quickly as Hot Rod 55. They are, to my mind, the most entertaining rockabilly band I have ever seen, and it looked like all of the people jammed into the marquee at Into The Valley 2008 were in full agreement". - Chairman of NABD biker organisation
Based in Shrewsbury and Telford, and with influences from rockers Gene Vincent and Jerry Lee Lewis to The Stray Cats, these boys whip up a storm with their dynamite and slick delivery of some of the greatest Rock and Roll and Rockabilly numbers ever to grace the planet. With a huge Brian Setzer influence they tear through old songs with a modern twist and new songs in a rock and roll style. This hard rockin four piece have opened up for many top names, including the likes of Peter Green, The Climax Blues Band, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Stiff Little Fingers, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Steve Gibbons. They have appeared regularly at the world famous Ronnie Scotts, but like nothing better than to "rock out" at biker bashes. If you like your rockin and boppin on the mean side, dont miss these four aces. Rock and Roll for the 21st Century!

I was blessed to have been a staff songwriter for Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton’s Owepar Publishing Company at the height of their duet career. My current release is an underground project produced by the late legendary Country Superstar that demonstrates Wagoner liked to rock!
With my new release comes new fans, and I hope you enjoy the music enough to pass it along if it strikes you in that way.
