I make cute iPod cases! Every case is handmade to order, by me, for you, when you order it. I make cases for just about all small electronic gadgets such as iPod, iPhone, Nano, Classic, Touch, Blackberry, PDAs, Zune, Flip video, and all cell phone models. My cases are not mass-produced and they are NOT made in China. Cute Cases are proudly made right here in the USA in my home studio.
Inspired by a grumpy dog, I created an iPod case empire
I founded this company in Autumn 2003 (it was originally called HotRomz.com but I think Cute-Cases.com is a much better name, don't you?) when my little papillon dog grew tired of me making dog sweaters for her and refused to wear them any longer. I sat there asking myself, what can I make that would be appreciated? Then it hit me and the lightbulb went off over my head. The idea of unusual iPod cases was a natural for me and I immediately went to work to design a website and create the head-turning product line.
Taking a big bite of the Apple
I love Apple. I've been on the internet since 1994 when I bought my first Apple Macintosh Quadra 900 computer - it had a whopping 50 MB RAM and a 25 MHz processor. Ah... those were the days (not!). Since that time I've purchased 14 Apple computers (yes, I said fourteen)! My 14th Mac is a shiny new 24" aluminum iMac and I also own a multitude of iPods. Did I already mention that I love Apple?
Complete do-it-yourself-er
I create everything you see at Cute-Cases.com myself, hand-coding all html pages from scratch (in BBEdit), editing and updating the pages constantly, photographing the cases, and I enjoy every minute of it. I do this for a living in my home and I feel very fortunate and appreciative.
