How bout them Atlanta Falcons hunh? First Michael Vick will be serving a 23 month sentence, then the team gets done in by the Saints (without Reggie Bush) on Monday Night, and to top that Bobby Petrino decides to call it a day after 13 games and head on out to Arkansas to coach the Razorbacks!!!Owner Arthur Blank so far is having a memorable '07 season! This would put a smile to any Miami Dolphins fans just knowing that they are not alone in having a franchise that's in the sh--pile!!!
An agonizing offseason for Met fans so far.Neither the Twins,Orioles or even the Athletics were interested with the prospects Omar offered so I guess he has to shore the rotation with a free agent signing or two.But not sure who will be good pickup. Will it be Carlos Silva?Or Livan Hernandez?I feel Omar should sign Freddy Garcia as insurance if someone goes down with an injury and there's no def. answer if Orlando Hernandez is a starter or goes to the bullpen.Garcia seems a better pickup over Bartolo Colon.Hey!Has anyone seen the Rangers anywhere--they've allowed 10 goals these past two games!!!And hopefully they'll show up in Atlanta.
So it's the Yanks and Red Sox in the Santana sweepstakes with Phil Hughes being thrown in the mix of a trade pkg (along with Melkey and probably another young pitcher)but we must see if Boston will ante up on their end. The Mets are tryin' to figure who can they acquire with their prospects. Haren (my pick)?Blanton? He's a No.4 starter.Or will it be Erik Bedard? The Giants are still trying to figure out how are they going to kickoff the ball in Chicago with Phil Hester waiting and see if he can run back downfield for yards or a TD?While the Jets hope Kellen Clemens is truly the future of this franchise or decide in the offseason to draft one next year?
