As the HOUDINI Myspace page says. HOUDINI is a one man project. HOUDINI is inspired by a lack of song structure, walls of noise, bottom end, uneasy atmospheres, long drones and doom and i couldn't put it better myself. HOUDINI is the brainchild of creator L from Australia and is a fine piece of doom/drone. I was lucky enough to receive in the mail a 5 track cd which is one of the more enjoyable drone disc's i have heard in a long time!!! Fans of SunnO))) and BORIS will find plenty to excited about when hearing HOUDINI. Drone is a music form that gets mixed reactions at the best of times but this is one listenable disc. Listen to this one with the headphones on and the volume cranked up and you will be transported on a unsettling journey in atmospheric, amplifier worship. Check out the Myspace page to get a good dose of what he has to offer. He has a CDR release out through BLACK NOISE...........
