About me:
Many moons ago, in a remote monastery on the slopes of the Himalayas, a boy-child was born. He was destined for great things -- learning, discovery, enlightenment, and sheer unadultered power over his fellow humans by virtue of his shocking eloquence.
The boy-child received the finest of stereotypical mountainside monastery educations, learning philosophy, theology, rhetoric, and advanced non-Euclidean geometry, with a bit of Batman Begins-style jujitsu thrown in for good measure. But then someone thought it'd be a good idea to take him snowboarding down the mountainside. Big mistake. The accident was gruesome, tragic, and left the poor monastery kid permanently scarred. Left to fend for himself, the child hitched a ride down to Burma via India and Bangladesh. While there, he met with enough influential members of the ruling junta that it kindled within him a single, clear goal: world domination.
Armed with a sense of worldliness that no monastery could ever have taught him, the child continued south, through Malaysia (where he met the people who would later claim to be his family) and on to Australia, settling in the fair city of Perth. There, he consolidated his power base, set up a real blog, established a network of minion-friends (many of whom, alas, don't use MySpace), and started studying at UWA. And the rest, well, let's not go there, shall we?
