HPR01: The Hextalls - Call It A Comeback LP
"Wow, this totally sucks. It's probably the most boring, unoriginal piece of dog shit I've listened to in a long time. Every song is a direct rip-off of a pre-existing SCREECHING WEASEL song. And the lyrics - where to start? There's the song where they talk about how awesome at sex they are, or the song where they call girls bitches, or the song where they call Michael Myers a "homo." And that's just the first three songs; the rest of the album is just a long stream of tired pop-culture references. This is terrible. Avoid this band at all costs."
-Fred Schrunk, MRR
"All joking aside, that's the most spot on review I've ever read in my life." -Devin Hextall, The Hextalls

Another string of smash hits from Sudbury's favorite party animals. These guys fell asleep in my bed once and I had to crash on my floor in my sleeping bag. I love them. This will be a split release with P Trash Records out of Bielefeld Germany and will be out in late July/early August.

Halifax's latest and only purveyors of power-pop goldness blast onto the scene with this, their first and perhaps last 7 inch record release. Rising out of the ashes of the Dean Malenkos, if you like The Dickies, The Briefs or The Damned, this shit is gonna kick you straight in the nuts (I don't know what that means).

We are stoked to announce that the Man Eater 7" is officially released in Germany this coming Monday!
Michl at Taken By Surprise Records in Munich just received his copies yesterday, so to ensure you get a copy of this super limited 7", we would suggest paypalling him some dough asap before these suckers go outta print.
We're leaving in a week to play a festival in the Basque Country, and some German dates too, so if you're around see you there. If not, catch you on the flipside!
