ATTENTION MYSPACE USERS: In October your MySpace PROFILE AND HOME pages will automatically be upgraded TO THE NEW CRAP 3.0 VERSION NEWS CORP / MYSPACE IS OFFERING WHETHER YOU WANT IT OUR NOT.

NEWS CORP / MYSPACE plan is to offer it as an option until then, and then force it on you.

THE GUY IN CHARGE OF MYSPACE AT NEWS CORP THINKS A LOT OF YOU WILL LEAVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS BUT WILL COME BACK. It seems people will leave and never come back just like when they did this the last time and lost 30 Million users that ever came back.

This is what happens when a corporation takes over a great site, and think they know better, when they know nothing!!!

My name is Bob Fabbio. I have been characterized by others as a visionary and successful serial entrepreneur. I have founded and built multiple industry-leading companies by identifying large emerging markets, gaining intimate knowledge of customer problems, challenging conventional wisdom, and bringing targeted, innovative products to market. In recognition of success in building world-class businesses, I was awarded the Ernst &Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997. I subsequently served as a chair person and as a judge for the Austin E&Y awards; both on a local and national level. I was recognized in the 1999 Digital South Magazine List of "Most Influential People In the South's New Economy" and 2002 Forbes Magazine Midas List of the "Top 100 Technology Venture Investors (technology's top 100 dealmakers)", to name a few.

With almost 30 years of business experience, I have been involved in all aspects of business: company formation, board oversight, day-to-day operations, and liquidity exits. My entrepreneurial endeavors have lead to the creation of over $1.5B in shareholder value at time of exit. In 1989, I founded Tivoli Systems that was the catalyst for what became a $12B Enterprise Systems Management market. In 1996, after a successful IPO, Tivoli was acquired by IBM. I later founded DAZEL Corporation, which quickly became the acknowledged market leader in Output Management, before being acquired by Hewlett-Packard. I also co-founded Ventix Systems, which later merged with Motive Communications and went public. I spent nearly 6 years in the venture capitalist industry with Austin Ventures, as a Venture Partner, and with TL Ventures, as a Managing Director. In addition, I have held senior technical and executive management positions with Cesura, VIEO, IBM, Prime Computer, Applix, and Kodak.
