I Just Called To Say I Love You
The Household Cavalry was born out of boredom in a student house in Bristol. There are no constant members of the band and in fact many of the members don't even play an instrument. These are my friends and family, who have an immense influence over the music I write.
I've been making music for 3 years now doing the occasional live set. After experimenting with home recording for a similar length of time I felt confident enough to invest in what was to become my first album, The Wash.
It is a non-profit project, we are selling copies at £2 each with the hope of making my money back. You can buy a copy at one of our upcoming gigs or alternatively you can click here to visit Ebay to buy a copy.
We still have a few open mic slots available if you would like to play - or you could just come and watch. It's free entry, cheap drinks and is located in the town centre of Ipswich.
Constellations runs every month (usually the first Friday of the month) we provide the very best in PA equipment and have our own professional sound tech.
We hope to see you tonight, we have a guest appearance from local band Serious Delirium.
hello mate. CD arrived safe and sound. Thank you very much. The girl iv been seeing in Melbourne has flown home to Germany today. She was a very very big fan of yours and i think she wanted me to say hello to you from her. lol. So Hello. I think when iv copied the cd onto my iPod ill post her the album. Spread the Dave Green word.
Take Care mate. Looking forward to getting the cd on! ali x
Hey! How's the weather over there? I just want to let you know that i'm coming to London in late May/early June to play bass with Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Allsup. Tommy played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.....would love to see you at a show? I figured with you being a musician you could appreciate this show. We play the Half Moon Putney. I hope you can come down?
Take care!

hey buddy. i didnt think you were picking through it at all. When i finished it i totally didnt think it was finished. i felt very muddled at the time of writing it. the swallows and pigeons is interesting. its a bit linked to tattoos and my favourite birds being the pigeon.
It was confusing writing it as emotions and thoughts are often muddled in my head...
anyways. thanks for your thoughts and ill; let u know if anything else from my head is written in poem form.
Peace and love mate. Still listening to your songs. loooove it!

From (We are musical suffolk) page. Dave Green (without his Household Cavalry)
Sang 'Who's in your CD player?' and 'The girl who couldnt cum' This is the first chance we've had to review this guy and I have to say he is the 'Matt Lucas' of the music world...he could get away with singing about almost anything...his lyrics are fab, down to earth and funny. Even if Dave sang the songs badly, he would still be well received because he has such charisma on stage.
Hi Guys, The pictures and video are now up on the Constellation MySpace site, please feel free to use the pictures and video if you wish too. Hope your good? Emma @ Constellations. X
Hi Dave....I've got loads of pic's from the night, I've got to get off my a*se and actually get them on the computer....they will be up on the Constellations site very soon, so feel free to nab them for whatever...the video should also be going on the site and on YouTube too...Thanks again guys, you were fantastic.
