Markie
Markie first encounter with the dance scene is when his big brother took him to one of the club back in the days. Since then, he gained interest in the dance scene. His big brother noticed this and got Markie his first decks set. The first record he ever touched is a DnB vinyl. LTJ Bukem, Dillinja, Roni Size and Hospital Music are his heroes back then. But in early 2003, his music taste changed 180 degree when he listened to Naked Music. Sounds from Miguel Migs, Andy Caldwell and early Trentemoller amazed him in a way. He later joined 5th Records, known as Housekit now, and played at 'Drop Kick The House', his first public gig. Moved to Sydney Australia at the end of 2003 broaden his music view. With his new team up crew, Razel, here in Sydney. He shows his love of electronic music to Sydneysiders by playing an eclectic set from house, electro, techno, disco and indie.

Abhi
Narya, also much more well known as Abhi had been interested in dance music at the tender age of 13. At that time, tracks from Defected, Hed Kandi and Daft Punk (still is) were in his favorite playlist. Not long after that he finally noticed that his older cousin Tara (formerly Javabass) shared the same interest as well. They talked about it then finally they got their own decks not too soon after. Tara probably has more raw natural talent so he started doing gigs in clubs. Narya was only 15 at the time so he realized he wouldn't have the same opportunities so he decided to just stay home and practice his arse off. The only gigs he would play at the time were at his friend's private parties and such, but nothing big. He stopped playing for a few years then started to get into it again when he moved to Sydney in 2005 and met Markie there. Electro was big at the time, and he got very influenced by it but not that long after that it got very tedious and started to get very, very infected by deep house and minimal, until now. Narya moved back to Jakarta and joined the Housekit crew in 2009.

Erasmus
As a guy who was a tech savvy since he was little, Erik or Erasmus started discovering music through the Internet in 1993; it was also the same time when found punk rock music then became the love of his life. The Cure was also influential, that he created a band called "Galore", taken from one of their albums where he started becoming a bass player even until today.
His fascination towards electro/dance music, and the idea to spinning the turntable as a DJ grew as his friends often asked him to play his music collections; on top of this was his addiction of listening to his favorite songs in big speakers & headphones) whenever he's at a club/home that also got him into spinning the turntables professionally.
"What's Erik's sound's like?" Imagine the colors in rainbows. A single living cell or an amoeba. Think about universe, the world and everything in it: vibrant, dynamic, creative, uncertain and infinite is what describes his music. His life journey starting from his childhood until the present has influenced him in so many ways and have contributed into his ability to create his particular sound. His music is simply a roller coast ride of life that is wrapped in the playfulness and excitement of being in an amusement park...a concept complex enough to think about, but when it's being experienced; is just simply...THRILLING!

Originally named 5th Records, and after one of the founder decided to pursuit his career in different direction, Sakti ,one of the original crew, mentioned to use different name in order to 'move on'. The name ‘Housekit Sound System’ became officially when Markie joined the club. Begin with the birth of ‘Drop Kick The House’ (DKTH) in 2004, a party that gathered house lovers back where other genres are dominating, and since, it became a mouth talk between house heads. After the second DKTH with Agrikulture, Dondit join the team and made Housekit more solid. Since then, Housekit crews continue their works by serving Jakarta underground house comunities with their memorable parties.
