Our Mission

Our Mission is to positively affect the social development of our members and to provide nuturing space for self expression, and personal and professional growth.


Our History

The House of Blahnik (formally known as the House of Manolo Blahnik)began with the vision of two friends- Legendary Runway Jay Ebony and Legendary Realness Preston Ebony. These two along with up-and-coming Micheal, Jasmine, and Hector Infinity became their driving force behind building a new house from the ground up. After many months of conceptualization and fine tuning the House of Blahnik finally came to fruition- the first fusion between African American and Latino Ballroom Houses.

The House of Blahnik officially opened in May 2000 at the "Legends Ball". That night, the House took home more trophys than any other house competing, creating a new chapter in Ballroom History, but more noticable than the domination of the ball itself was that the House of Blahnik had something that could not be ignored- UNITY.

Now in our eighth year,the house has dramatically increased in membership going from the original 12 members to 100+. Blahniks are based throughout the nation in the following cities and states: Detroit, Ohio, Atlanta, North Carolina, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York.
