White Lions erstes Album „Small World"ist fertig! Das Album entstand in den zurückliegenden fünf Monaten und ist das Ergebnis vieler gemeinsamer Jammin.. Sessions White Lions mit Faati aka. Mr. Bassi in Freiburg. Bei den Rythmen für die Songs haben sich Produzent und Sänger neben Reggae auch durch Hip Hop und Rap inspirieren lassen. Sie haben so einen unverkennbaren Klang für das Album kreiert. Basslastige Grooves und knackige Offbeats tragen die Stimme von White Lion. Da sich der Sänger verschiedener Gesangsstile bedient, sind unterschiedlichste Songs auf seinem Album zusammengestellt. Abwechslung ist garantiert! Man darf gespannt sein. Ab nächster Woche gibts eine ca. 15 min. Preview auf www.myspace.com/lionyardzu hören und auch zum downloaden!!!! Seit heute ist das Mastering abgeschlossen (vielen Dank an Robert von Roque Music!) und die CD ist nun in der Pressung. Ab Freitag den 13.11.2009 ist das Album über Gelignite Records, www.lionyard.de und einige Plattenläden erhältlich. An einem mp3-Download wird gerade noch gearbeitet. Ebenfalls am 13.11.2009 steigt zur Veröffentlichung des Albums das Release-Konzert im White Rabbit am Leopoldsring in Freiburg aka Fiyahburg. Zusammen mit Mr. Bassi und der Dub Tub Band wird White Lion dort alle Songs vom Album zum ersten mal live spielen.

For this release we teamed up with top producer Jr. Blender and created a classical dancehall reggae riddim that is a link between the apart drifting genres Dancehall and Reggae.
The production has 14 Tracks and features some household names such as Gentleman, Luciano, Louie Culture, Lady G as well as newcomers as Nkulee Dube, the daughter of Reggae legend Lucky Dube, who performs her first Reggaesong on the Aspire riddim.
The Riddim Selection is available digitally at Itunes, Finetunes and all other relevant platforms. The limited 7“ Vinyls are distributed by Soundquake.com.
