Once upon a time in a land , much like the one we're in right now. A group of friends decided they wanted to play in a scenario paintball game together. Until this time they had hung out at events, and partied and traded stories, but never played together. That had to change. So a certain flame haired Mistress scored the landscape and finally found a game in the wilds of Mass. . The friends all agreed to attend and made their plans. The time of the game arrived and with great joy and anticipation the friends drove to the field. For camping and partying, and oh yeah paintball, you remember paintball, this story is about paintball. When we go to the field , it was discovered that the producers of the game had lost their CO for their Decepticon team. They then asked if Mistress Nyxx would take the job. She accepted and then asked if two others of her entourage could be her fellow officers. I , LoKi ,and Wheatie took the XO roles. We met the producers of the game and the field owners as well. We broke bread with them the night before the game. A fine meal was provided for us. Then there was story telling , some drinking, and even a singing "Cowboy." We told stories of paintball. You rememeber paintball this story is about paintball. Anyway, it seems that others at the event knew some of stories and the fields they had happened at. At that point it seemed a good place for us to be. A smaller field, no BS, no attitudes. We took the field the next day. They're was Mistress Nyxx, who had that name before this event, in fact everyone had their names. Winter, marksmen, tech guru, brother, and all around great person. Wheatie and Baxter. Who I'd known but again never had the chance to play with til this day. Then there was Heffy and lil Heffy. A father and son team of death and destruction. Just ask them. LOL. Really thou, Heff has been around since day 2 of paintball, and his kid grew up in the game. Barney, you guys know my brother Barney right. If you see a dude in purple it's more then likely him, and if you see him he's already seen you. Then me LoKi, I'm the guy tellin the story. The story's about paintball. Anyway. Whilest we we're playing we needed a way to find each other in the mass of humanity that was playing the game. Being as we didn't have radios, we opted for old tech. YELLING. So if we got separated from one and other we would yell . SOLSTICE really loud. Why? Easy, it's the name of Nyxx and Winter's company Solstice Airsmyth ....never mind. It was easy to remember and no one else was using it. From that it went to "House Solstice," then when we we're asaked if we were a team and how long we'd played together I responded. " We're not just a team, but a way of life." It was funny and I was caught up in the moment. We had played well at the event. And made many new friends, we got and gave respect to all those around us. And so a House was born. Mistress Nyxx named us, and the rest is as they say paintball history. You remember paintball this story is about paintball. This was also the birth of POD JUICE and our little buddy Dominic. Now that kid is a RockStar. I'd go back there to just play with him. And of course to see our hosts and Steele reserve. Maybe some else will tell more tales. But fear not gentle reader . Because the House is stronger now and coming to more events and oh the chaos and madness we shall bring.
