I starting playing guitar in country music combos with my father and his friends in the pubs of Whitby, North Yorkshire in 1984. This I have continued to do from time to time since moving away and becoming, chiefly, a solo singer / songwriter. Over the years I have played a lot of gigs, support slots and open mic' nights around Peteborough, bringing my own material into the sets. I have played in hotels, prisons, takeaways, city squares, on open top 'buses and trucks, but mainly in pubs. More recently I have been playing in Lanzarote and in Las Vegas, but retain a Peterborough base.
