About Howard Salmon Music

Hello to all our troops and thanks for what you are doing for all of us. I am proud to say that I served in the Army from Dec.76-Dec.79. Also in the Army National Guard, then 4 years in the U.S. Air Force Nov.80- Nov.84. I have been a truck driver since then. My music started while I was in the Air Force and wrote my 1st song in 1993. My pride of songs I wrote in Aug.06 "Soldiers and Truckers" And had my friend Carissa Amberly record it on Aug. 22, 2007. She has made me proud, together we sent 200 CD's to our troops at Ft. Sam Houston Army Hospital. That CD has 2 songs that I wrote "Soldiers and Truckers" and "Wishy Washy Woman”, that song is a Duet with Carissa and myself. We also got OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Drivers Assoc.) to put 400 CD's in the care packages that they are sending to our troops. Check out their web at www.ooida.com (OOIDA) Their goal was to earn $5000 to put care packages together.... But the Truckers got together and earned approx $ 40,000 !!!! Carissa and I are happy that we can share our music with you. My new song called "Who Would They Look Up To” has been picked up by Trucker Buddy International, and will be their theme song. It will be played on the radio and TV. This song "as a single for Trucker Buddy" All proceeds of that single will go to help school kids. You can check out their web at www.truckerbuddy.org . This song will again help kids in our country. A new CD that will be out soon titled, “Who Would They Look Up To?” Kids helping Kids, will be made with several artists.
