How Far North was formed back in 1989 and played their last performance in October of 2000. All hope of getting signed by a major record label slowly slipped by as the years past. On the flip side, How Far North was fortunate enough to sell several thousand CD's and perform with some great national acts like April Wine, Bad Finger, Survivor, Slaughter, Styx, Night Ranger, The Little River Band, Blue Oyster Cult, The Atlanta Rythem Section, REO Speadwagon and many more.
A second CD was almost finished prior to the bands last performance. Rumer has it that the CD will finally be finished and may be followed by a short reunion tour in the summer of 2009.

Neal, Sorry about that! I meant to address my comment to Joe. I met you guys back in '93-'94 when Zack was still playing drums. I recorded sax on a song that Joe was putting together and actually played a couple of times with you guys on that song. I always thought the band had a great sound and was one of the many that assumed you would find a recording label that would pick you up in a hurry. Good to hear from you and take care.
Mike, It is good to see your profile here on MySpace. I remember when you guys were throwing down raising cane. How about that "Zack Attack?" I would love to hear you guys put the band back together one more time for a tour next year! It would be a highlight for fans everywhere to see that one more time so what do you say? You guys are great!
