The HOXTON WHORES consists of two djs named Gary Dedman and Kevin Andrews who have been spinning on the circuit for 15 years. Having played at most of the top clubs in England the boys regularly travel to many corners of the world such as Australia, China, Russia, Ibiza, Dubai, Singapore and the states, and now have a comprehensive biography under there belt.

They first came together over 10 years ago when they started a music distribution company called Essential Direct Ltd. The success of the company enabled the boys to invest in a couple of studios which in turn allowed them to prove their love for the music by producing tracks suitable for their dj sets. They made tracks under many different pseudonyms and eventually settled on using the name Hoxton Whores(derived from their studios being located in Hoxton and the fact that many ladies of the night could be located in the area!!) as their lead name. The boys enjoyed making tracks that brought energy to the dance floor and gave back something to the crowds that had been supporting them djing over the years.

Since producing their first track under the name( a cheeky mix of shiny disco balls and 99 strings), the boys feel the name has grown dramatically and has really come to light. They are inundated with remixes, having records signed to many compilations and records released in various different territories. Still heavily into their own production the boys spend much more time on original projects and with their first Album ..The Story So Far.. being released in December 2006 the boys hope in 2007 they can again push on to bigger things.

Their label is focused on creating huge club tracks that instill a great party atmosphere and feels it has been successful in its aim to establish itself amongst the club world!! The style of music that the label likes to portray is mainly house orientated but ranges from funky uplifting house, right through to dirty fat electro. It has no set pattern in its release schedule and two consecutive releases could be totally different sounding but still with one thing in common, they must work the dance floor!!!

On the Dj front, the boys are still going from strength to strength and now have residencies at two of London..s most prestigious clubs, Pacha & The Cross. They have traveled to many countries around the world such as Australia, China, Russia, Ibiza & Singapore, amongst others and the boys diary is constantly heavily booked. In the UK the boys tend to find them selves playing at a lot of what is considered the bigger clubs but they still love to play at and look forward to playing at smaller clubs with fantastic atmospheres. They can often be caught throwing records and cds into the crowds, and generally creating mayhem behind the decks, hyping the crowd to the max but still maintaining there professionalism whilst spinning. There talents stretch from spinning vocal uplifting house to tough funky pumping electro but can also be caught mixing in bits of fat tribal, dirty disco and large progressive beats for good measure!!!The boys are still very much enjoying what they do and consider themselves to be very fortunate that they are able to spend their time inputting into a scene which they truly love.

They have co-produced numerous records and created huge monster anthems worldwide. Some of the favourites have been - SUNSHINE OF MY LOVE (- which made most dance floors erupt for months!), FRIDAY SATURDAY LOVE, EDUCATION, THE VENETIAN, PROMISE LAND, CRAZY FEMALE, POP THE LIGHTS ! And not forgetting LOST IN IBIZA a big piano Anthem that simply just rocks!!

They have also remixed some great artists, the likes of Faithless, Glc, Kathy Brown, Danny Howells, Moloko, Infernal, Judy Cheeks & Todd Terry to name but a few and the current big one doing the rounds is NJOI ..ANTHEM...
