At this point, I have trouble saying that I'm "discriminating" in the pretentious sense I used to use the word:
"I discriminate against what I deem 'crap.' I sneer arrogantly at people listening or dancing to crap. White Lion is NOT crap. Don't laugh at me."
For instance, I bought the Shakira song, "la Tortura" from iTunes. The Spanish version, thank you. And I occasionally listen to 50 Cent. And Death Cab for Cutie and Elliott Smith. Bowie, dude. and Jack Johnson. And lots and lots more. And yes, the Spanglish version of La Tortura (which I only find on the Spanish-language radio) is my bomb.
Only if that means what i think it means.
