The High Point Jaycees offers young professionals opportunities to become successful leaders in their community. Membership is fullfilling, a learning experience, a chance to network, and an opportunity to enhance your career.

Your network will not only extend within the community but can expand across North Carolina, The United States and the World with established communications links.

You will have the opportunity to participate in workshops that will give you the tools and knowledge to succeed as a leader, manager, public speaker, entrepreneur, consultant, etc.

Most important, you will have fun. The High Point Jaycees is an organization of professionals and students. We are here to educate, represent our cause to the North Carolina General Assembly, the United States Congress, and to be a united voice for young professionals ages 21-40.

Associate Membership - Is any member of the community under age 21 and over age 41.

Our Purpose in the Community
The purpose of the High Point Jaycees is to become a force of good in the community, determine community needs and providing solutions by planning and facilitating community service projects. Membership Nights: The Membership of the organization meets and enjoys an evening together on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at a local business establishment determined by the President. The locations are posted in advance on the chapter's myspace calendar and may include a restaurant, local pub, bowling, putt putt, movie theatre, etc.

Board of Directors: The Board of Directors meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30p.m. in the Board Room of the YMCA located at 150 W. Hartley Dr High Point, NC just off N. Main St. The meeting is followed by a social or dinner at a local business establishment.

The High Point Jaycees and over 40,000 Jaycess from across the United States encourage Americans to "Get Out the Vote." Americans are given the freedom of choice to choose which candidate to elect, which referendum to pass or whether to vote at all.

An alarming number of citizens are choosing the second option, leaving only a handful of people to decide who will run our country. Through the exciting Get Out the Vote program, Jaycees combine efforts in their communities to educate and encourage people not only to register, but also to cast their vote on election day. Projects include candidate forums, voter registration campaigns, town hall meetings, and other projects designed to inform and educate the local electorate and encourage an increased participation in the process of democracy.
