"Playing off the stylistics that would easily satisfy the X-Fest crowd, their big, anthemic choruses and radio-ready sound have made them a fixture on the Dayton music scene."
-Kyle Melton
Dayton City Paper
"The songs don't sound rushed, in fact they have a power
and immediacy that's often overshadowed by studio trickery."
"Pushing Back and Good Intentions, Poor Delivery...have
strong melodies and good musicianship. The trio switches
gears on a few cuts such as Going Home, a complex rocker
with numerous changes."
-Don Thrasher
The Dayton Daily News
"HQAX is one catchy rock band.
They write rock n’ roll built around strong and catchy melodies and hooks. Musically they feature elements of Alkaline Trio-styled pop-punk with moments of upbeat guitar heavy rock."

"fun, upbeat rock" Rev Cool from WYSO
"HQAX are one of my favorite live acts in town because of their infectious pop-punk-rock originals as well as their energetic stage antics." Kris Neises from Dayton Daily News
"I wasn't sure, a bit tired after the show, I awoke the next morning with a remberance of a rocking band. Once I got my morning red bull, i stumbled upon a CD, put it in. Rock ensued.
Pushing back my new fav song." Ben ***** from the band Rhonda
"Awesome." Gretchen ******, promoter from the Oregon Express

We're looking for a new bassist. Help us spread the word:) A good friend has been playing with us since the begining of the year, but is moving back to Minneapolis to go to school and we are in need of someone to step in. We've put up a blog on our myspace detailing what we're looking for. Those interested should contact us through myspace or email at band@theStoryChanges.com.
whats up guys! Long time no hear! Hope to see you play out soon...in the meantime, we're playing our last show for a while this Saturday. Hope you guys can come out!
We're doing a tour kick off show this Saturday in Dayton. It's all ages with a bar for those of age with I.D. We're throwing the show at the South Park Tavern on Wayne, near the Wyoming intersection. We need all the support we can get. We're leaving for three weeks of touring out West and back a couple of days after the show. Gas prices are insane right now. Come out and show some love!
