All types of music inspire Howard. Impressions can be found in Howards writing ranging from JJ Cale, to John Anderson and Ed Bruce, from Waylon, Willy and the rest of the outlaws to the Rolling Stones.
Howard Jamieson, an Ottawa native, was initiated to performing music on stage at the age of fourteen. He worked as a bassist for a number of local bands over an eight year period.. Howard has built a successful business and returned to music as a singer/songwriter. He has a few co-writes with current industry professional songwriters and is garnering more attention from his works. Currently he is recording a CD. He has played in various venues in Canada including an appearence on the CCMA stage in Saint John New Brunswick. He has also performed in Nashville. This past May he performed at the 9th anual Tin Pan North Songwriters festival in Toronto to a sold out room at the Trane Studio, and will be taking part in Tin Pan Ten May 22 2009
