About me: The Alumni Association was organized in 1924 (we are 82 years old). That was just 11 years after the institution was founded. Our mission is to promote the interests and success of HSU and you, our alum.
We have an online community for alums only. The online community's most popular features are the alumni directory and class notes. Any Humboldt alum can join the online community. It's free and easy: check it out www.humboldtalumni.onlinecommunity.com.
We are proud of the relationship we have with former students who maintain their strong ties with Humboldt for a lifetime - because being an alum of HSU is like being a member of a community or family. Once a student, always an alum!
Why join the Alumni Association? Well, it's the best way to stay connected to your alma mater. You will hear news of reunions and events, alumni chapters, and receive the Humboldt magazine and the Boldt e-newsletter. Click over to our main website to check out all we have to offer you www.humboldt.edu/~alumni.

Oh, Humboldt. How I miss you. I never should have abandoned you for SFSU my final year. I had to graduate in an ugly purple sack, and didn't even have my name called! *sigh* I just try to convince myself that HSU was my only alma mater...
My perfect day...wake up and walk down to Los Bagels for breakfast (or the Alibi...yum), drive inland to WC for some sun and fun, back for frisbee game in Redwood park, then to Humboldt Brewery for wings and beer, then to Larupin for dinner, then back to Marino's for stiff drinks, then to Sidelines for popcorn, then walk or stumble home....Man, I miss Humboldt (oh yea, school too..but the weekends....) Are any of these places still there???
Greetings from Catalina Island! Two alum's reunite after, oh, 30+ years...who? A hint: we were poli.sci.majors and circled the Square from 1975 to the 1980's. Bingo! It's Mary Osteen and Jim Maltby!
