Plaid was a band started back in 1990 and moved through many iterations of musicians as band members went to college, and left for solo careers. They played mainly in the south east and hit the college circuit for awhile.
The first album they created was self title plaid, but dubbed "Bananas" by fans because of the album cover.
The band was working on their second album, when the lead singer, Hank Gravel, passed away.
You can find the remaining band members in many different bands, such as: Juice, Shametown, DiscOasis, The Soultones, and a few others that I can't remember at the moment.
Enjoy the tunes from their first album, as I will switch them out occasionally to remember the good ol' days when Plaid would bring down the roof at the Tip Top Cafe.
