This is the official MySpace page for the HIGH TIMES DOOBIE AWARDS, celebrating marijuana in music. For its first 4 years The Doobies were held in NYC, but in 2006 we moved them to Austin, incorporating them into our annual party at the SXSW Music conference. This year we will be celebrating the 7th Annual Doobies on Saturday, March 21st at Red 7. For the first time this year, we'll have TWO stages of music and an exclusive signing for our new "High Times Official Stoner Handook" with the author, HT senior editor David Bienenstock. Tap beer is free (while supplies last), but you gotta bring your own smoke! The show will be hosted by HT senior editor/columnist Bobby Black. Performers include Nebula, Priestess, Wino, Year Long Disaster, Earthless, Blower, Graveyard BBQ, and Age Ov Reason, plus special surprise guests. Tickets are $15 at the door only—no advance sales.Check back on this page regularly for info, updates, video clips and more.
